It is the start of Mental Health Awareness Week. This year’s theme is Nature and how important it is to stop and take time to enjoy the nature that is all around us. PRHA’s horticultural therapy project, Grounded Ecotherapy was set up to help people, who may be having difficulties with poor mental health, through working with nature. The project is a direct example of how being around nature can benefit a person’s mental and physical well-being.
We are always looking for new volunteers to join us so if you think you would be interested and would like to know more please visit our website at prha.net/grounded or contact Michael Richardson at firstname.lastname@example.org
