Slice of PIE Bulletin – March 2021

It has been a very difficult 12 months for everyone and PRHA residents and staff have had to cope and adapt to an ever changing set of circumstances, which has not been without its issues. This months bulletin deals with the fallout from the pandemic and how it has affected the lives of residents and our staff, who have coped amazingly well when presented with numerous challenges. Clare Mpofu, manager at Heather Lodge talks about how residents at Heather Lodge have been affected, their experiences living under lockdown and what they are looking forward to in the, hopefully, not too distant future.

We also introduce Susan Smith, the new Contract Manager at Daniel Gilbert House who talks about the challenges of improving services to residents with the ongoing funding cuts and amidst a pandemic.
