Holocaust Memorial Day 2020

Holocaust Memorial Day is on January 27th and people in Tower Hamlets are invited to come together to remember the
millions of people murdered in the Holocaust, under Nazi Persecution, and in the genocides which followed in Cambodia, Rwanda, Bosnia, and Darfur.The theme for 2020 is ‘Stand Together’. Genocidal regimes throughout history have deliberately fractured societies by marginalising certain groups. Now more than ever, we need to stand together with others in our communities in order to stop division and the spread of hatred in our society.

Tower Hamlets Homes will be marking the event with the planting of a memorial tree at Culham House and all local residents are invited to attend the Ceremony.
