Safeguarding Awareness Month 2018 – Tower Hamlets
October 31, 2018 5:04 pmPeople in Tower Hamlets are being encouraged to do their bit to protect vulnerable adults and children as part of Safeguarding Month this November.
The theme of the month is ‘safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility’ andthe council, police, health, community, housing and voluntary organisations will work together to raise awareness and understanding of issues such as harm, neglect and domestic abuse
A dedicated phone line (020 7364 6085) for reporting concerns about adult welfare goes live at the start of the month and a programme of activities, including seminars, workshops and events for the public and professionals will take place across the borough.
